You made an eternal difference for April!
“Before moving to Hope, I knew who Jesus was, but I didn’t really know what He did for me.”
When April first moved to Hope Children’s Home in New Mexico, it wasn’t easy. But when she saw a friend give her life to Christ one night during devotions, she knew she wanted to make a change too.
Hope staff member Christiana sat down with April and showed her from the Bible how to be saved. Afterward, April told everyone, beaming, “I got saved! It felt so good!”
When she looks back on how
her decision to follow Jesus has changed her, April smiles…
“I haven’t been having as many meltdowns as I used to. I have also been trying to be helpful to people, and I’ve realized that being mean reflects your heart.”
Today, April’s sweet spirit fills the home in New Mexico with such joy—thanks to friends like you. She says her favorite thing about living at Hope is getting to live with so many people who love her and whom she loves too!
As she looks to the future, she has big dreams of helping others find new life in Jesus… just as you did for her.
“I want to help people who are not saved and show them the biblical way of how to get saved. I would also love to be a writer and tell people about God.”
Thank you for helping to transform the life of this sweet girl—you’re making an eternal difference!
