Vision and Reflection
As we closed the books at the end of June and step into another year of ministry, it’s the perfect time to reflect on all that God has done— and is doing—here at Hope Children’s Home.
It all boils down to this:
Every single one of the children entrusted to our care is infinitely precious to God.
Every day, it’s our mission to help the boys and girls experience the Father’s compassion so that they can learn to believe again—in themselves, in their futures, and in His unending love!
Since I stepped up to the role of Executive Director in January, it’s sure been a whirlwind. There’s just so much to give thanks for!
That’s why I’m so grateful for your partnership, which makes it possible to show the steadfast love of God to the children in these four powerful ways.
- Emotionally – Never underestimate the security and stability of a loving family environment.
Through your support, Hope gives the boys and girls the family structure they need, ensuring each child receives unconditional love, discipline, and focused, intentional time so they can thrive.
- Physically – Sadly, many of the children who come to Hope have been exposed to neglect of one kind or another.
You help them feel seen and cared for by providing nutritious meals, clean clothes, and a safe, warm home with their own bed and personal space.
- Spiritually – There’s nothing more important for our children at Hope than to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
That’s why we have personal and family daily devotional times and prayer boards in each of our cottages, as well as encouraging our older children to serve in missions and outreach.
Please pray with me that every child at Hope will know they have a Heavenly Father who loves them and a Savior who died for them.
- Educationally – Many of the children who come to Hope are struggling academically. Your partnership helps ensure that every child receives a top-tier Christian education to give them the opportunity to thrive.
Over the last year, this unique ministry has touched the lives of nearly 100 boys and girls across Hope’s three locations in Florida, New Mexico, and Honduras—18 of whom are new children who arrived with us in 2023. I praise God for each one!
Looking forward, I believe God is calling us to more:
“For this year ahead, we have before us a bold vision to more than double our reach by welcoming 40 new children into Hope’s care!
Please pray with me for an outpouring of support—that more compassionate Christians like you will have a heart for these vulnerable boys and girls so that together we can welcome them in Jesus’ name.
Friend, I’m excited about all that’s in store and I’m grateful for your partnership. The children are too!
Look what God has done through friends like you this past year!
Thank you for praying for the boys and girls to come to know Christ for themselves!
Here’s how the Lord is answering…
17 children accepted Christ from July 2023 through June 2024!
18 children have been baptized!
We’re thankful to the generous donors who met the Mother’s Day $50,000 match in full, ensuring care, comfort, and counsel for the children.
The children are benefiting from maternal love and guidance from our house moms at Hope even when their own mother can’t give those things to them.
Support from friends like ensured the shelves are stocked with nutritious food into the fall.
It’s a tangible (and tasty!) expression of God’s provision for the boys and girls as you fill their tummies, nourish their bodies, and set them on the path to a healthy, hope-filled future.
One of our Bundles of Hope babies, Elias, reunited with his mom! She’s deeply thankful for the safe, loving home you helped provide for Elias while she found a new job and a secure place to live.

Baby Castiel also joined Bundles of Hope, and we’re getting closer to breaking ground!
God has done some amazing things through friends like you, and we are so grateful.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds as, together, we continue helping children in need believe again!
