Rosa
After losing her father and becoming homeless, Rosa found Jesus and a new start in a loving, faith-filled home.
In 2022, Rosa’s dad passed away. In that moment, her whole world fell apart. She was just 14 years old.
Having had no relationship with her mother for several years prior, Rosa was, in essence, orphaned by her father’s death.
For a while, she lived with her cousin, but when this didn’t work out, she ended up in a homeless shelter.
Things were looking bleak for Rosa…
But praise God, that’s not the end of the story! Just before Christmas 2023, hope broke in to Rosa’s life thanks to friends like you!
Your support made it possible to rescue Rosa from the shelter and embrace her within Hope’s loving, faith-filled home.
Today, thanks to your support, Rosa is flourishing and growing in so many ways.
Within the first month of arriving at Hope, Rosa accepted Christ as her Savior!
Then, she took her first step as a Christian and was baptized in September.

Through Hope’s stable family life, our rich school curriculum, and tons of other stimulating extra-curricular activities, Rosa is growing in skills, in confidence, and in her walk with the Lord.
“Being at Hope has really helped me get back on track and helped me meet my father’s wishes, like graduating college.
“I like the possibilities that I find here at Hope— things like the school play and other activities. Hope has also brought me back to the Lord and I got saved!
“To me, Hope means a second chance, or maybe ten chances, in my case!
“No matter what you’ve been through or who you used to be, you get the chance at a good life, you get new opportunities, and you get to meet God.
“I’m so grateful!”
Rosa’s words of gratitude are for you, because it’s your support that makes it possible for her to be growing towards her God-given potential here at Hope.
On behalf of all the boys and girls, thank you for your compassion and support!
