Josue & Fernando
These two brothers lives were forever changed by the safety, love, and hope they found at Hope Children’s Home.
Every child deserves a safe and secure home. Thanks to your support, two brothers in Honduras now have just that.
Josue and Fernando grew up in a community plagued by gang violence — even their own uncle was involved.
Their family was trapped in poverty and fear, and their mother lived with the constant worry that something terrible could happen to her boys.

When told about Hope Children’s Home, she was overwhelmed with relief.
It was the answer she had been praying for — a way to protect her sons and give them a chance at a better future.
From the moment Josue and Fernando arrived at Hope, House Mom Rachelle noticed something special.
“While some kids are sad and unsure when they first come to Hope, these boys were excited and connected quickly to everyone around them,” she shared.
They were given their own Bibles, which they handled with such care and appreciation.
Recently, Fernando celebrated his birthday — and he was deeply moved by the love and attention he received. For the first time, he felt truly celebrated.
“Every time their mom comes to visit, she shares how comforted she is to know that she doesn’t have to worry about something bad happening to them.”
Now, Josue and Fernando are surrounded by people who remind them daily of their worth — to their family, to us, and most importantly, to their Heavenly Father.

“Our prayer for the boys is that they see how valuable they are to everyone around them, and even more so that they begin to understand how valuable they are to their Heavenly Father.”
Josue and Fernando’s story is just one of many. And it’s only possible because of generous friends like you.
Thank you for keeping Josue, Fernando, and their mom in your prayers!
