Evelyn & Wilson

Picture this: after years apart, a brother and sister in Honduras cling to one another, tears flowing, hearts overflowing with joy.

Wilson and Evelyn are finally home again—reunited with their mother after a long season of separation.

It’s a moment only God could orchestrate. But it didn’t happen by chance.

It took prayer. It took time. And it took the faithful support of friends like you.

Four years ago, when Evelyn was twelve and Wilson only eight, their mother could no longer provide a safe home.

With deep love but heavy heart, she entrusted them to Hope Children’s Home.

Those first months were filled with fear and anger, but slowly—through the consistency of loving house parents and the power of God’s Word—their hearts began to heal.

Evelyn grew into a quiet leader, thriving in school and church, even choosing to be baptized.

Wilson’s playful spirit returned as he trusted Christ as his Savior and followed Him in baptism too.

This summer, their story came full circle. With a steady job and a safe home, their mom was finally able to welcome them back.

What began in brokenness is now

a story of restoration. And it’s all because of friends like you.

Your generosity made it possible for Wilson and Evelyn to believe again—in family, in love, and in the God who brought them back together.
