Changed Hearts in Honduras

“Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me.” – Matthew 19:14

Because of your faithful support, children in Honduras are not only being cared for physically, but they are also hearing the Gospel and responding in faith.

Mauricio, age 15

Fifteen-year-old Mauricio shared that when he first arrived, he did not truly understand who God was. During a family devotion, he began asking questions about salvation.

After talking with his houseparent and seeing the joy in a friend who loved Jesus, he realized he wanted that same joy in his own life.

“I decided I wanted that joy and asked Jesus to be my Savior.”

Not long after, another child, nine-year-old Isaac, began asking about baptism.

After a devotion time, Isaac spoke with Aunt Rachelle about what it means to be saved. He understood he was a sinner and needed Christ.

With excitement and a full heart, he prayed to ask Jesus to save him. Recently, he took the next step and was baptized, publicly declaring his faith.

In the past year, several children in Honduras have placed their trust in Christ. Others are growing in their understanding of Scripture, asking thoughtful questions, and taking steps of obedience through baptism and discipleship.

These moments do not happen by accident. They happen because children are in a safe, loving environment where they hear the Word of God consistently.

They happen because faithful friends like you make it possible for daily devotions, church involvement, discipleship, education, meals, and compassionate care.

Every child entrusted to this ministry is prayed over, cared for, and pointed to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Thank you for helping open the way for boys and girls to encounter Him.

If you would like to see more lives changed like Mauricio and Isaac, you can make a special gift today to help more children hear the Gospel, grow in faith, and experience the transforming love of Christ.
